Some have lost their jobs due to abusive employers, who, taking advantage of the current administration’s policies, threaten to call immigration or reduce wages when workers refuse to accept unfavorable conditions. Additionally, even those who manage to keep their jobs often struggle to earn enough to sustain their families. When facing immigration issues, the high cost of legal services can be overwhelming; many lose their cases simply because they cannot afford representation and face deportation as a result. We cannot stand idly by and watch as families are torn apart.
